What is everyone using for heaters these days. Ive used most types over the years. But i generally still go back to eheim jagers. I know and have heard people having problems with them here and there and certain models. Ive had a couple fail after many years. But all in all they are the ones i tend to go back too.
So what heaters do you recommend and use in your tanks?

I use a mix of Eheim and Aqua One glass heaters.
When I worked retail the most returns were for the “fixed temperature” 25 degree C style heaters that have water level detection.
One of the best reliable heaters are the titanium heaters with separate thermostat. Good for salt or fresh water but really designed for sumps.

Ive heard good and bad from titanium heaters.
Ive even had a 500w titanium heater that pretty much melted. But that was over 10 years ago.
Im sure they are better now then back then. Lol

The worst state I’ve seen these particular ones in over the years has been like a corrosion to the heating elements (Looked like lime build up like a kettle).
I’ll find the brand name as I can admit those took a beating haha
