The Fu Manchu Lionfish, also known as the Twinspot Lionfish, or Ocellated Lionfish, has red, white, and black vertical stripes along the body. It has large, fan-like pectoral fins, and tall, quill-like dorsal fins. It is unique from other Lionfish because of the two, feeler-like appendages on the chin. A 120ltr or larger aquarium with numerous hiding places is suitable. It will hide while acclimating to its new environment. The top spines are venomous, causing reactions similar to a bee sting, only stronger. Care Level-Moderate (intermediate fish keepers) Temperament-Semi-aggressive Color Form-Black, Red, White Diet-Carnivore Reef Compatible-With Caution Water Conditions 72-78° F, dKH 8-12, pH 8.1-8.4, sg 1.020-1.025 Max. Size-10cm Venomous-Yes Origin-Indonesia, Philippines, Tahiti Attachments:

Love these dwarf lions, I must put a disclaimer that they are for the intermediate keepers. They take a lot of patience to get feeding in front of you as they are very shy.
