I had the brief fun of housing 5 of the Zebra Pleco, L046 (L-number) a little while ago. I unfortunately don’t have the money to own these, I only got to “fish-sit” for a few weeks until their actual owner collected them 😔 but what absolutely stunning fish.
They, like most smaller plecos enjoy most their time hiding away somewhere secure. The price was around $700+ each for 3cm maybe much more now, this species is extremely rare.
Has anyone kept Zebra Plecos before? Any other rare plecos/catfish?
