Would there be any adverse reactions on a system running months and months of quantums 3x metals and enhance.
Then running out of the 3x metals.

Would the corals be reliant on the 3x metals to the point that they go into a after shock of not having them for a few weeks?

That’s a good question. I believe because they aren’t a “building block” style supplement such as calcium, strontium or iodine there shouldn’t be any shock. From what I gather you would see a more dramatic change if running an ultra low nutrient sps but mainly colour would be affected.

For reference I looked up the Red Sea coral care trace elements msds sheet and it lists “trace metal compound - 0.1-0.5%”. Depending on brand there might not be much too it.
