Tomocichla asfraci a Central American cichlid. A recently discovered cichlid, that is still pretty rare in the hobby. This beautiful fish is a true omnivore, that will benefit and show best coloration on a hugely varied, high quality diet of fresh, pelleted, live and frozen foods. Water current in the aquarium will be appreciated, with very high oxygenation of the water. Very sensitive to water quality. A 'robust' level of filtration, with an aggressive schedule of regularly conducted, high percentage water changes is a must for keeping this species colored-up, energetic and healthy.
